Oasis

It takes a lot of searching. It took me almost an entire lifetime. But one day, it just so happened to be the day I stopped looking, I found it. My own little paradise.

Not only did I find my oasis within myself, but there it was all around me, I was so taken back I could only think to cry. A rush of serenity hit me and my body felt it could float. I sat on the soft brown sand with my barefeat feet splashing in the cool water listening to it hit the rocks that lay in it.

It felt like it had been days since I moved from that spot, when it reality within a few moments I was up on my feet once again searching for my next place to call paradise.
